Tomatin is eigendom van de Takara groep onder de Britse noemer Tomatin distilleryCo. Ze bestaat sedert 1897 en heeft een capaciteit van 5.000.000 liter per jaar. de whisky is hier niet zo bekend maar is razend populair in Azie en haalt ook sterke cijfers in the USA. De distillerywas ooit veel groter maar werd deels ontmanteld in 2002. Tomatin is normaal unpeated maar één week per jaar wordt een geturfde whisky geproduceerd. De core range bestaat uit expressies van 12,15,18 en 30 jaar oud. Er zijn ook heel wat limited editions en bottelingen door onafhankeljke bottelaars. De meest gerenommeerde is de Tomatin1976.
